Alliance Group is ISO 14001 certified and in Southland the Lorneville, Makarewa and Mataura sites are certified to EnviroMark Diamond. Alliance's intention was always to achieve the internationally recognised ISO 14001 in part because this aligns with our quality systems certification. The EnviroMark system was initially used to step us through the process to achieving our goal. Currently both certifications are being maintained. We have been disappointed to find that EnviroMark is not as well recognised internationally as we originally believed but it does have the benefit of a more readily identifiable name.
