  • Providing vouchers to eligible businesses to subsidise management upskilling with 'approved training providers'. This can include group workshops or one-to-one coaching.

WasteNet Southland is a joint service between the Invercargill City Council, Southland District Council and Gore District Council, in collaboration with Environment Southland. WasteNet's mission is to provide the co-ordinated delivery of solid waste services within Southland to achieve the region's vision of a sustainable Southland.

Southland Resource Directory is a directory of contacts details what you can do with your waste when you are done with it i.e. listing your nearest recycler, reuser and disposal facilities.

The Lower South Island’s Regional Coordinator for the NZ Landcare Trust is Janet Gregory. Based near Gore, Janet works with the Southland Biodiversity Forum and supports the many Landcare Groups in the region.

Project Coordinator, Gretchen Robertson works with landcare groups, rural communities and multiple agencies involved with the Upper Taieri project.
